Catherine Benedict is the daughter of a wealthy plantation owner in the West Indies. She longs for adventure and a chance to prove herself, but her overprotective father will not allow her to leave the estate. Catherine has been growing tired of the endless cycle of dinner parties, needlepoint lessons and gown fittings.
